Description:

This is an exciting opportunity with our client in Malaysia, as one of its key leaders. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your focus will be on overseeing the following teams: Order to Cash (OTC), Purchase to Pay (PTP), Business Partner Services and Service Delivery as well as Project and Performance Management. The role is based in our Kuala Lumpur office.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day to day operations of the following teams in the Business Shared Services Center: Order to Cash (OTC), Purchase to Pay (PTP), Business Partner Services and Service Delivery
• Driving continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and quality of shared services level via automation, realignment and reengineering of work process across various systems internally or externally.
• Ensuring internal control procedures are operating effectively and recommend for internal control set up if necessary.
• Sharing best practices and provide support and guidance on major business changes
• Owner of service performance scorecard according to SLAs and KPIs established.
• Responsible for driving teams' engagement and team members’ development
• Establishing and maintaining working relationship across finance, technology and business partners as appropriate
• Any other responsibility that would be delegated from time to time.

Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant with affiliation to professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA and MIA.
• Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience leading Order to Cash/Purchase to Pay in a Business Services environment, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal controls.
• People Manager with experience handling a big team (>20)
• Experienced in transformational projects preferably of finance and implementation of shared service best practices will be an added advantage
• Able to provide thought leadership with experience of thinking strategically, planning and managing process changes while maintaining strong stakeholders’ engagement.
• Demonstrates problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.
• Good business awareness, understanding of impact of Business Services initiatives on other departments is considered essential.
• Excellent management, coaching and motivational skills are essential due to complexity of the cultural environment and diversity of working relationships.
