Position Details: Purchasing Manager

 · Responsible for sourcing and development of new vendors in Asia region, mostly building materials related 

 · Responsible for prices and contract negotiations. 

 · Organizes manufacturing of projects in coordination with project manager. 

 · Responsible to follow up of manufacturing, quality and lead-time.

 · Reviews projects profitability with senior project manager and BU manager.

 · Responsible to build the capabilities of direct reports, which includes performance coaching, training and mentoring. 

 Requirements

 · Degree in Engineering or any equivalent qualification.

 · Independent, organized and able to work under tight deadlines with affirmative actions, strong execution and follow up. 

 · Excellent data analysis skills with knowledge in ERP system. 

 · Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff.

 · Excellent interpersonal and communication with strong written and verbal English communication skills. 

 · Experience in sourcing of building materials (steel structure, cladding, etc.) will have added advantages. 

 · Able to travel within the Asia region.
